A reenactment of a service at the 2nd Missionary Baptist Church before it moved from 609 Blackhawk to 502 Spring Street in 1892 featured N.M. Shabazz (center) as Rev. B. J. Guthrie and Br. John Anderson as Rev. Thomas Twine. 
Other members of the congregation and the parts they played in the 5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration Saturday were: Vincent Bell (left) and Leah Rickets, Co Hosts; Roger Wilder, Keyboard and Steve Rigazzi, Bass; Phyllis Becker, Gena Bardwell, Angela Hagenbach and Joyce Johnson.
